Nakon odgledanog Easy Rider-a, dva prijatelja sa sela prave čopere od mopeda i odlaze u potragu za bogom i ljubavi.
It's 1999 in a small village of Slovenia. Two best friends TOMAŽ (23) and ANTON (23), after watching »Easy Rider«, decide to transform their mopeds into chopper-like vehicles. Tomaž is a dreamer and religious while Anton wants to be an outsider. They embark on a journey where they meet PETER (60), a true biker who has wandered the world and a young documentary filmmaker ANA (22). Anton's girlfriend TINA (19) went to study in Ljubljana and hasn't written him in months. When he meets her, he finds out that she has already forgotten him. Ana wants to film them for a documentary and they go to a blessing of bikes where Peter saves them from angry bikers. They continue together. Tomaž has a vision of a woman which he interprets as Medjugorje, a religious place where Virgin Mary appeared. Anton begins to think that Peter might be his father that he never knew. On the road Peter dies. This makes the young group grow and Anton decides to go on his own path like true »Easy Rider« riding Peter's bike. Tomaž and Ana continue to Medjugorje when a storm catches them. Tomaž tries to get his moped out of the mud, when he looks up and sees his exact vision in front of him. It’s Ana.
I have always been fascinated by how somebody creates his or her own identity and a way of life. There are many factors that influence that; most important ones being events in our lives and decisions in given moments, even if they are made completely subconsciously. In each moment of life there are thousands of possibilities what who will do and it is mostly conditioned by who this person has been until that moment. But people often limit themselves. However, in my film I am interested in those who dare to be free in making their decisions.
Thus the film introduces characters who want to be free and want to get out of the moulds of this world. Which is not that simple since each of them blocks his or her path to freedom. This is a film about growing up and realizing one’s internal wishes and getting to know oneself.
